Magic Cauldron

Magic is an integral part of almost every Fantasy setting, and Palladiumis no exception. This expands a character's magical options including new spells, enchantments, and items. Some of these items overlap with the item's chest (due to the item falling under more than one category).

Magical Items

Enchanted Messenger Cylinder: Magical means of protecting messages from falling into the wrong hands. In a campaign this can be something used by the player characters to protect themselves, or serve as an obstacle they must overcome.

Enchanted Paintbrush: A new item I'm adding. This is part of a larger project, but something I decided to release early due to it being the 30th Anniversary of PF. Hope you enjoy.

Enscrollers: Combination of scroll and spell book, these new magic items can be a great asset to any magic user, or even to the mundane.

Ezo: Mystic needles designed for use against Supernatural Beings. Note: This has direct ties to Mosaic Magic (see below for more details).

Magical Mustical Instruments: A new category of magical items to compliment a Bard of Minstrel character, for new loot to reward players, to empower dreaded foes, or just for fun.

Wizard's Dagger: An alchemist item to help Wizards conserve P.P.E. and aid in those pesky sacrifice rituals. Note: While also included in the Items Locker, this tool is more useful to a practitioner of magic than as a weapon.

Elemental Magic

Metal Elemental Spells: Not every culture believes in just four elements. New spells for the metal element and a companion to the Metal Warlock O.C.C.

Giant (in progress): A companion spell to Size of the Behemouth. Go big or go home.

Secrets of Mosaic Magic: Mosaic Magic is mentioned in Palladium Fantasy Book 11: Eastern Territory (by Steve Edwards), but very little information is provided on the subject. This details some basic ideology and training, as well as a few secret techniques, including Homunculi and Chimera Creations.

Nature Magic

Woodland Magic: Within the Palladium system there are several types of magic that rely on nature such as earth warlock elemental magic, biomancy (Rifts Book Six: South America), shaman spells (Rifts Book 15: Spirit West), nature magic (Rifts Book Eighteen: Mystic Russia), and others. When reading into the Wild Hunt I found legends of faeries, spirits, monstrous hounds, sparrows turning into attack birds, and the hunt itself. Though magic dealing with nature has been done before, I believe this fits the Wild Huntress O.C.C. and hopefully it is still different enough to still be unique.

Curse of the Undying (Ritual): A special curse that turns a living mortal into an undead force that cannot die. Perhaps a blessing at first thought, but is the slow descent into madness and the loss of humanity worth the price?

Pact Magic (in progress): A specialized field of magic designed around making pacts. While the pact a Witch makes is perhaps the most infamous, this is far from the only application. Note: Capable of being learned by any practitioner of magic capable of learning new spells.

Immovable Object: A new type of enchantment for G.M. to use in their games, or for players to use to compliment their characters. The trick here is making an item that cannot be moved.
