Range: Can be found in just about any area except for the Yin-Sloth Jungles. But this rare type of fox is most commonly found in the eastern lands of the Great Northern Wilderness, Eastern Territories, and to a lesser extent as far south as Timiro and even rarer as far south as the Land of the South Winds.
Behavior: The habits of a twin tail are basically the same as a normal fox. It also appears mostly as a fox with the exception that it has two tails instead of just one and its fire red fur. Due to this fact it is sometimes called the "two tailed fox" or, by those that know its talents, the "fire fox." In addition, a twin tail also has the ability to breathe fire three times a day. This talent is typically used to ward off intruders, but can also be used to start a small fire to keep itself and/or its young warm during the colder seasons.
The ability to breathe fire is said to be a result of a pair of glands within its body which is believed to be able to store hydrogen gas and then convert it into a shot of fire when needed. These glands are small though and only large enough to contain enough hydrogen gas for only three blasts. It is these glands which tend to interest alchemists the most. Their "fire coat" of fur is a useful component to help in enchanting items with fire resistance or immunity.
If enough pelts are gathered, a fur cloth can be formed and turned into an article of clothing. This is most commonly a cloak or cape, but can be turned into just about any type of clothing as long as enough material is available. The article formed is immune to fire and can help to protect a wearer from such attacks. It is important to note that while the wearer concealed under the article may be safe from physical damage of the fire, the wearer will still suffer the effects from heat.
