Terran Race

Physical Description : There are several different races on Terra and all with different appearances. The animals of Terra evolved into sentient buildings and are the dominant species of the world. Humans also exist on the planet.

This is a world with a very similar history to that of Earth. The main difference is that animals evolved on the planet. Despite this change, it altered the events of the world very little still resulting in a Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I, and World War II. After the fourth World War, there were finally movements to work towards world peace. After a very long period, world peace became a reality. Once helping to solve several of the issues on Terra, they began to look outward to the stars (see The Known Universe of more details).

They have set up several colonies on various worlds, both in their system and the neighboring system of Halthrine. The Halthrine system is the next system over from the Terran system and is on the edge of the Outer Sphere. There are also a few Terran outposts in other neighboring systems, but these are no officially recognized as Terran territories. For this reason, they are restricted to military personnel as there is no way of knowing if they may come under attack. Below are a few colonies of note. In no way is this to say that these are the only Terran colonies; simply that these are the only ones listed here.

Lunar Base

This is the first off-world colonization of Terra. At first it was simply an early colonization attempt, but after colonization made further strides this colony was restructured as a Terran military base. It is setup as a watch post to detect any possible threat to the world of Terra. Along with advanced sensors, it is also equipped with a wide array of weapons and military crafts.

Mars Colonization

There are three colonies setup on the world of Mars. Its initial purpose was to study the mysteries on the planet (such as the face). Though these scientific studies turned up little information, many of the people on these expeditions, scientists and hired help alike, became accustomed to the colonies and learned to call them home. These colonies still exist and are populated a majority populated by civilians.

Paradise

This is probably the most populated Terran colony. Unlike the rest of the Terran colonies which need domes and artificial environments, the planet of Paradise was already habitable and full with luscious life. The most notable accomplishment on Paradise is the floating city known as Sky Palace. This planet is located in the Halthrine system.

Norap

A very inhospitable planet plagued with energy storms, avalanches, sink holes, and other natural disasters of all kind. The main reason this planet has any colonies at all is due to the fact that its surface is full of much needed natural resources. This is solely set up as a mining colony, though many of the miners have brought along their families and there are small businesses for dealing and trading with the miners. It is another planet located in the Halthrine system.

The Five Exploration Ships

The Terran government sent out five exploration class ships to study the rest of the known universe, as long as it does not interfere with the territory of another race. They are a cross between a science vessel and a battle class ship, though not quite as good as either in their respective purposes. It comes close to being the equivalent of a science vessel though, but is well over twice the size to compensate for its combat purposes and additional crew compliment. As they are further away from Terra than any other vessel, it is important to have an ample crew ready to replace any unfortunate casualties. The five exploration class ships are in addition to the rest of the Terran fleet which are designed for supporting the colonies and defense of its territories. The names of the five exploration class ships are listed below.
