The Rune Forge

Rune Weapons and other items are popular among many Palladium Fantasy fans. Throughout the years, I've created a collection of them, aiming to give each its own unique quirks and abilities. I've always feel rune items are overused for something that is supposed to be rare, but they're also a lot of fun. Note: This was previously included in the Armory. However, I felt it would be better to give them their own page. By separating them, it avoids cluttering up the Armory for those who don't care about rune weapons while at the same time puts them all in one place for those who love them.

Agaidi (rune weapon): I think it still needs some retouching.  I tried to make my vision of it come to life with words, but something just didn't seem to come out right.

Crawzin (rune weapon): I made this one just because I liked the idea of a crazy one.  It's an odd insanity for a rune weapon to say the least.

Fuernor, the All Seeing Eye (rune eye): Fuernor is a strategist and tactician, with abilities to help him excel all the more.

Lyton, the Ravenous (rune mask): An eternal torture item with both benefits and lasting torture. Disclaimer: This item was created as part of a challenge mentioned by Cinos on the Palladium Fantasy forums.

Selibra, the King's Robe (rune pauldrons): An item feared even by other rune weapons. Disclaimer: This item was created as part of a challenge mentioned by Cinos on the Palladium Fantasy forums.

Solaris, the Ultimate Destiny (rune weapon): Favoring beautiful women wielders, this rune spear is said to rise a hero up to meet their destiny. Disclaimer: This item was created as part of a challenge mentioned by Cinos on the Palladium Fantasy forums.

Living Rune Weapons (optional player race): A new type of creature of magic. Players actually have the chance to play as a rune weapon! Sound odd? This is one case where you'll just have to read the article to find out. See Rifter 52 for more details. Get the issue here (or if you prefer PDF).
