E'Eno Proxima
The troll stood over the body of the beaten and bloody human. He wore an evil grin across his face. The magical energies were still crackling around him. "Give up, Boy. I may still let you live."
He couldn't give up now; his father had taught him better than that. Besides, he couldn't live with the dishonor that it would bring. He struggled to his feet. Blood streaked down his face and into his eyes. He wiped some of it clear, but his vision was still blurred. "MY NAME . . . is E'Eno Proxima. I am the adopted son of V'Gadesh, the man that you killed. I shall not back down from the likes of you."
"Then you will die."
"I am not afraid of death. If that is what the hand fate has in store for me, then so be it."
"Have it your way, Boy."
After reciting a short spell, the troll fired a huge bolt of dark energy at him. E'Eno raised the blade of his katana as if to cut the attack in half. The Dark Wave hit with full strength. It shattered the katana and sent E'Eno back down to the floor. This time, he wasn't able to get back up.
The troll looked down at him, "How stubborn? You still refuse to die. As a reward, I won't kill you. Instead, I'll send you to the Realm of Eternal Torment. There, you'll suffer the pain of a thousand deaths. Prepare yourself."
The troll began to recite a magical incantation. A mystical portal began to form all around E'Eno. Before he could finish, the troll was interrupted by a loud howling. It was the Demon Wolf that guarded this place. Somebody else was coming.
"E'Eno," shouted a voice. It was B'Galla. She was his sister and the true daughter of V'Gadesh. He had asked her to stay away, but she couldn't. Despite the danger, she had to try and help. However, she didn't come alone. She was accompanied by two strangers.
E'Eno thought about how nice it would be to receive some of her psychic healing, but he knew it was too late. He could feel himself already shifting dimensions. The portal had already been opened, but the troll was distracted before he could finish the spell. The portal was opened to all dimensions with no destination. E'Eno was being torn between every dimension all at once. It was a pain beyond description.
He awoke in a small room and found himself being nursed back to health by an elderly dwarf. "So, you're finally awake. You know, I wasn't sure at first if you were going to make it."

He awoke in a small room and found himself being nursed back to health by an elderly dwarf. "So, you're finally awake. You know, I wasn't sure at first if you were going to make it."
"Who are you?"
"Hi, I'm Graldur."
"Where am I and why did you bring me here?"
"You're in the backroom of my bar. I found you a week ago in the middle of the street badly wounded. It pains me to see what they do to you humans. So when I saw that you had escaped and were still alive, I did what I could to help. By the way, you never introduced yourself. I've told you my name, but you haven't told me yours."
E'Eno bowed as he spoke, "Pardon my rudeness. My name is E'Eno." As he said his name, the expression on the face Graldur turned cold. He continued, "I've been through a lot and am not fully sure of where I am. What is happening and who are 'they?'"
"Once you can walk, I want you to leave." Graldur turned and walked out of the room.
E'Eno knew something strange was going on, but he didn't know what. He respected the request of Graldur and left that night. Before leaving the town, he tried to do some investigating. However, no one would tell him anything. Everyone shunned him like the plague. He knew it would be hard to solve this town's problems without knowing what was going on. He decided to begin his Ilksharu anew. He swore to himself that after he understood more about this new land, he would return to this place and end its problems.
During his travels, he discovered how much darker this new world was compared to his own. This was a world that had been torn apart by the arrival of rifts. Since that time, a dark cloud has hung over this world.
